COVID-CABANA
By E. Perryman
Day 21 of 2020 Quarantine
4.04.2020
Her name was Covid,
her hair was spiky, a
germy virus to beware,
she can hop from here to
there. She would merengue
and do the cha-cha
and while she tried to
be a star, washing hands kept her afar.
6 feet keeps her away, or
she will run astray, she is
novel and has no cure,
Stay at home and pray.
Here with Covid, her crown
will chase you, your gloves
and your masks are your
new boo. Social distance will
help us fight her. Stay home
and hang out and zoom with your
besties. Or Ms Covid, won’t give you up.
Her name was covid, she needs to
get out. We shall defeat
Corona’s grip. Covid 19 we
don’t ship. No more merengue
and no more cha-cha. She’s
overstayed her welcome here,
may she never reappear.
6 feet kept her away, or
she will run astray, thanks to
all who helped and fought,
they’re our heroes of the day.
Here with Covid, her crown
will chase you, your gloves
and your masks are your
new boo. Social distance will
help us fight her. Stay home
and hang out and
zoom with your besties.
Oh Ms Covid, your time is up.
Covid….
Covid is basic…..
Covid is cancelled…..
Don’t stan no covid….
Covid is ratchet…
Covid is cringey……
Bye savage covid……
