Dear singers, what piece do you love to sing even though it’s out of fach and you wouldn’t be hired to do it?
Alas, I am considered way too fortified for Pamina but I adore this piece with my heart and soul and can sing it in my sleep. I think it is a masterful piece of musical architecture from the first g minor chord to the exquisite postlude.
My voice student Ruth Sytsma is singing this piece beautifully. God willing I make it to the retirement home, lll be the wacky red hat gal singing it while coloring in the activities room.
