My Uncomfortable Truths:
If someone embarrassed my wife or family on national tv under a worldwide microscope, I don’t know if I would be able to control my anger.
I count myself privileged not to be under the relentless scrutiny of fame. I only have to look at those whose lives ended early to see the tragic impact.
If fame, wealth, and looks were the meaning of life, our world would really be in trouble.
If I was Commander in chief during ww2, I could only hope I’d be brave enough to globally announce that Hitler should be removed from office.
I believe society wants realness but can’t cope with real emotion. People mask their emotions and then we don’t understand why things happen to those who seemed so happy.
Real emotions are messy and uncomfortable.
Tools are built from being allowed to express difficult emotions. Tragedy evolves from our unexamined and unacknowledged shadow side.
In general, society operates superficially. Channels like investigation discovery exist as a result.
Beach gate memes never tire.
