It dawned on me today that Mr Rogers was a radical. He was ahead of his times. The love, acceptance, and hospitality he promoted fits right into our 2023 SEL initiatives. I had the honor to be the musical portion of the children’s sermon today along with Pastor Deborah Huggins today; singing the Fred Rogers tune” Did you know”. Thoughtfully, Donald Steele charged us to continue to wonder and marvel. He spoke about the blind man in the gospel of John who had his sight restored. He was able simulataneously wonder and marvel while actively believing in Jesus’ prophecy.
