I’ve always been partial to the musical gravitas of Mozart. The music transcends the score and seems to emerge from an otherworldly source. I’m new to the Wagner scene and have begun to learn why people love this music. It seems as if RW was a human vessel to the divine when hearing Siegmund’s gut wrenching music and despairing quandary whether he will see Sieglinde in Valhalla.
