What song would I like at my funeral, you may not be wondering?
I’m not planning on going anywhere anytime soon. Hopefully that day is a long time away but every year during holy week I am reminded of the song I want at my funeral.
It is…..”God’s right hand and holy arm.”
I want brass, timpani, handbells, gold lamé ribbons wands Jennifer Marie, and a robust choir singing with sopranos heroically belting out the ending descant (in which case I will return to join in if the death has no sting celebratory spirit is less than euphoric.) Heroic and hopeful for the win. 😁
As you were. #dirtnaptune #godsrighthandandholyarm #nocap
“God’s right hand and holy arm have won the victory. Christ being raised from the dead shall die no more. Death has no power over him; he lives to God. Why seek the living now among the dead? Recall his promise unto you; he lives again. Gone is death’s victory, gone is death’s sting. God gives to us the victory through Christ our Lord.”
