Not sure Elizabeth Honer fully knew what she was getting into when we first started dating. In addition to stealing her garlic bread at a dinner she made for me, this following memory stands out. Appropriateness gets lost on me occasionally. 🤣

Eliz: I really like you.
Me: But I’m just a MF.
Eliz looks at me with a combination of confusion and intrigue.

23 years later we are still surprising each other and now our maternal instinct is being captured in full by the little Kiwi bird who runs our household.
