My aunt just called to see how Elizabeth and I are doing and that she’s concerned for us. We will take the legal steps needed to protect our civil rights in the next few weeks. Her call meant the world to us. This morning I sang a funeral mass. We did many of the hits; eagles wings, ave maria etc. Even though yours truly was the cantor, a UCC baptized and confirmed Protestant who deeply believes in pro choice and reproductive rights, I sang to all as we are truly walking each other home. #avemaria #prochoiceisprolife
