It’s Route 66 week with the littles. I love exploring the mother road. I am grateful to have had a chance to drive Route 66 from Vegas to Chicago with Cara Shlau Scott Lazerwith Morgan Iskovits in the summer of 1998. We made cassette recordings of our journey that I need to dig out. I distinctly remember Cara telling me that there will be no “whee” as I drove a bit briskly in AZ. I can hear her now saying I have too many tchotchkes lol. #route66 #roadtrip
