My industrious voice student has a lot more discipline than I did at her age. I was too busy voguing, working out to Jane Fonda, and watching Pee wee Herman at her age. She has been enjoying the met operas at the movie theater. She most recently very much enjoyed “Barber of Seville”. Eva Paternoster had the coolest thing to say ahout the Rosina which gave me pause. She said “every word that she sang had life.” NOW THAT’S a keeper phrase for the vocal performance archives.
