Not sure Elizabeth Honer fully knew what she was getting into when we first started dating. In addition to stealing her garlic bread at a dinner she made for me, this following memory stands out. Appropriateness gets lost on me occasionally. 🤣

Hear ye hear ye: today 5.2 is Kiwi Perryner’s hatch day. She is 5. We got her in 2023 when she was just 2 and a few months old from fabulous @janinevanpatten; thanks to @312rachel. Some of the funny/adorable things she does include saying “kiwi” to get a seed, scurrying to the other side of our shoulder when she doesn’t want to come off, throwing things around her cage when she wakes up, squawking at us when we take something from her she shouldn’t have, calling out for us when we open the door to leave, closing her eyes when we give her scritches, and making a kissy sound when we smooch. #conures #kiwi #parrot

Business major/fierce coloratura supreme @miriam.lupu_ sang all the notes and styles tonight from mariachi and musical theatre to opera fireworks and art song in her senior recital. A. We sang “with a voice of singing” tonight which I first sang in junior high with my dad as my choir director. He tended to play this piece a bit too fast ;-D.

B. I slept so hard last night after Monday’s 15 hour day which followed a week of 15 hour days, I woke up drooling.
